Wartime Quartet Reading Group

Welcome to our website

We have now concluded the run of the Reading Group. Our heartfelt thanks to every single person who was involved in it.

We have read material from Elizabeth Anscombe, Philippa Foot, Mary Midgley, and Iris Murdoch and have considered the extent to which it might be said to constitute a philosophical school.

​

The readings followed the Royal Institute of Philosophy's Wartime Quartet lecture series, dedicated to the work of these women, as a complementary resource.
